Hue E27 Bulb (White).
The simplest Hue bulb. Warm white light at 2700 K, app and voice control, and nothing else. Two bulbs, one job, lower price.
What it does
Smart control, one shade of white
Some rooms just need a good warm light you can turn on, dim, and schedule from your phone. No color. No adjustable white temperature. Just a reliable bulb that does what it is told.
That is this bulb.
The Hue White A60 puts out 1100 lumen at a fixed 2700 K. That is the warm, yellowish white most people associate with a living room or bedroom lamp. It looks good in the evening, it is easy on the eyes, and it works with the full Hue app and voice control ecosystem.
Where it makes sense
Rooms where you never actually want cold or neutral light. The living room ceiling. A floor lamp. A hallway fitting you swap for a smart bulb so it goes off automatically at night. Anywhere that a good warm glow is always the right answer.
If you have a room where you want different light for different times of day, the White Ambiance version of this bulb is the better choice. It covers 1000 K to 20,000 K and dims to 0.2%. This one stays at 2700 K and dims to 5%. Simpler, cheaper, more limited.
Still the full Hue experience
Despite being the entry-level option, these bulbs connect to everything. Bluetooth out of the box, Zigbee with a Hue Bridge. That means schedules, automations, and voice control through Alexa, Google Home, or Apple HomeKit. They work with Matter and Samsung SmartThings too.
Two bulbs in the box. E27 fitting. Rated for 25,000 hours.
The right choice if you know warm white is all you need and want to keep costs down.
