Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make sites work, remember your preferences, and provide analytical information to site owners.
We also use local storage, a browser mechanism similar to cookies but stored locally on your device and never sent to our servers automatically. Both cookies and local storage entries are covered by this policy.
We use as few cookies as possible. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or fingerprinting. Our analytics provider (Plausible) sets no cookies at all.
These cookies and local storage entries are strictly necessary for the shop to function. Without them you cannot add items to your cart, stay logged in, or have your consent choices remembered. Because they are essential, they cannot be switched off and do not require your consent.

Analytics help us understand how visitors navigate the shop: pages are most visited, where people come from, and how the site performs. This lets us make improvements.
We use Plausible Analytics, an Estonian privacy-first tool specifically designed to be compliant with GDPR and ePrivacy without requiring cookie consent. Plausible collects no personal data and sets no cookies. All data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.

Although Plausible does not technically require consent, we include analytics in our consent banner so you have full transparency and can opt out of even cookieless analytics if you prefer.

If and when we introduce marketing cookies or tracking pixels, we will update this policy, describe exactly what is being set and by whom, and ask for your consent before activating them. You will not receive marketing cookies without a clear opt-in.
Cookie banner
When you first visit klarq.ee, a cookie banner gives you the choice to accept or decline optional cookies. Functional cookies are always active. Your choice is saved in local storage under the key klarq_cookie_consent and remembered for your next visit.
Changing your mind
You can update your cookie preferences at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for klarq.ee, or by clearing your cookies entirely. The banner will appear again on your next visit.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies will prevent functional cookies from working, which means you will not be able to stay logged in or use the cart. Browser help guides for cookie management:

Opting out of Plausible
Plausible respects the Do Not Track browser header and excludes visitors who have it enabled. You can also opt out of Plausible's aggregate tracking by setting your browser's DNT flag, or by using a content blocker that targets plausible.io.
The following third-party services are loaded on klarq.ee and may set their own cookies or collect data according to their own privacy policies:
Auth session cookie
Loaded only on the MakeCommerce-hosted payment page, not on klarq.ee
No cookies; cookie-free analytics script
We do not load any social media buttons, advertising pixels, or other third-party trackers on klarq.ee.
If we add new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update this policy and the "last updated" date above. Material changes, such as introducing optional marketing cookies, will trigger a fresh consent request via the banner. We will not activate new optional cookies without first asking for consent.
